As mentioned in the introduction of my first book, “What Do You Mean We Didn’t Save The World???,” I have enjoyed a wide swath of life: A Nova Scotian by birth, San Diegan by rearing, collegian baseball pitcher, semi-pro ice hockey player, vacuum/real estate/insurance salesman, special education teacher, minister, artist, musician, writer, photographer, traveler, student, husband, and father.
Marsha and I have been married since 1974, lived in the Seattle, Washington area for 18 years, and are now traveling full time. Our adult children, Sarah and Joshua, live with their families in the Vail, Colorado area.
After University I taught school for 8 years. Then God, in one of His humorous moments, gave me the opportunity to be a pastor. In the summer of 2011 I took a sabbatical to focus on what I called, God In The Creative Process.
I transitioned from the institutional church in June of 2012, after 23 years, to pursue Creative Story Telling to Enlarge our Lives through photography, video, writing, and digital art.
